Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
Art4IRA is a platform designed for children and their parents. Protecting your family's privacy — especially your kids' — is central to everything we build. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls parents have.
1. Who we are
Art4IRA ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at www.art4ira.com and related services that help young artists (ages 6–17) sell digital art under parental supervision and use those earnings toward a Roth IRA. For any privacy questions, contact us at info@art4ira.com.
2. Information we collect
From parents
- Name, email address, mailing address, and phone number
- Payment and banking information for payouts (processed by our payment partners)
- Tax identification information required for reporting (e.g., SSN/ITIN for the custodial account)
- Verification information used to confirm parental identity and relationship to the child
From child accounts (with verifiable parental consent)
- First name or chosen artist handle, age range, and artwork the child uploads
- Content the child creates within the platform (titles, descriptions, gallery preferences)
- Basic technical information needed to operate the service (device type, browser, IP address)
We do not ask children for more personal information than is strictly necessary to operate their gallery and process earnings, and we never publicly display a child's full name, precise location, or contact information.
Automatically collected
- Log and usage data (pages visited, timestamps, referral sources)
- Cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences
- Aggregated analytics that help us improve the product
3. Children's privacy & COPPA
Art4IRA complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). Before we collect personal information from a child under 13, we obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. Parents may at any time:
- Review the personal information we have collected from their child
- Request deletion of their child's account and information
- Refuse further collection or use of their child's information
- Modify any sharing or visibility settings on the child's gallery
To exercise any of these rights, email info@art4ira.com from the parent email on file.
4. How we use information
- To create and operate parent and child accounts
- To list and sell artwork, process payments, and issue payouts
- To generate year-end tax statements and support Roth IRA contributions
- To communicate important account, transaction, and service updates
- To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
- To improve our products and develop new features
We do not sell personal information. We do not show behavioral advertising to children.
5. When we share information
We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the service — such as payment processors, custodial IRA partners, hosting providers, tax-reporting vendors, and identity verification services — and only with the minimum information they need. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer where this Policy will continue to apply.
6. Your choices
- Access and correction. You may update your information in account settings or by emailing us.
- Deletion. You may request deletion of your account at any time. We may retain limited records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Marketing. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. Transactional messages (e.g., sale notifications, tax documents) are required for account operation.
- Cookies. Your browser can be configured to refuse cookies; some features may not work without them.
7. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe and to notify you promptly if something goes wrong.
8. Data retention
We retain account information while your account is active. After closure, we retain limited records required by law (for example, tax and financial records for seven years) and anonymized usage data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
9. International users
Art4IRA is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States under U.S. law. Please do not use Art4IRA if this is not acceptable to you.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll post any updates on this page and notify parents of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
